I hope I can explain what makes the best food theme in my Daily Dish Pro theme review. Genesis is a truly remarkable WordPress framework. I have used many themes in the past, but even though I didn’t believe it at first, after two years I am slowly moving my sites to the Genesis framework. I have couple of friends who were looking for a food theme blog and now that Daily dish pro theme was released, all of them moved the the Daily dish pro theme.
But don’t be fooled by the theme name Daily dish pro, theme can be used for anything, from fashion, lifestyle to traveller blogs. While the look is a bit minimalistic, theme can be customized and transformed from a sexy black and white to just about any style.
Daily Dish Pro theme review
Daily dish pro has a minimalistic design with a black and white theme. Where Daily Dish stands out is with showing the images in all it’s glory. If you are showcasing images of dishes you cooked, you will make your readers salivate. Food (travel, lifestyle or fashion pictures) will stand out in white and black enviroment.
Daily Dish Pro Homepage has many elements that are just calling to action. One surprise of Daily Dish Pro theme is area above the header which can be used for ads.
Featured dish area is reserved for the big picture. Here you can show your best dish, design, phone or a picture you really like your visitors to see.
Daily Dish Pro also has a magazine style post elements. Featuring articles side by side with a picture above the post.
If you take time and put conversion optimized pictures as a featured image, vistors will not be able to resist visiting your posts. Below magazine style post elements, you can also choose a blog style post elements.
But Daily Dish Pro also features elements other themes from Studiopress don’t. This are small, featured images where you can show featured category. In demo example, you are seeing featured dishes which are just calling to be seen.
Below, footer widget area is divided in three parts. Some themes can have up to 6 parts but Daily Dish Pro has three which I think is the perfect number for the footer. Here you can place anything that can be placed via widgets.
Widget area is pretty extensive, as you can see, you can place widgets to Primary sidebar, Secondary sidebar, Before header, Home – Top, Home – Middle, Home – Bottom, Before Footer Widgets, After Footer and then you have and option to place widgets to three footer widgets.
You can easily change the background image and background color, and you can also add image or logo with the WordPress customizer. Theme comes with 6 different page layout options you can choose from.
Daily Dish Pro is a completely SEO optimized theme. It comes comes with a HTML5 markup and also features schema.org definition in order to make it easier for search engines to understand your website. Theme is also mobile responsive, meaning that it will fit show perfectly on any mobile device, this is really important as Google will start include responsive support in their website rank.
Like all Studiopress themes, it’s optimized for speed. Another aspect helping you to outrank competition.
Genesis updates and support
Studiopress team has a dedicated support team which will respond blazingly fast. My experience with support is just amazing. Whenever I posted a question, i received a solution in couple of hours from the time of support request. Another benefit are Studiopress forums where you can find many solutions just by searching for your term.
What about updates? When you purchase a Studiopress theme, you are entitled to lifetime updates and support.
Let’s face it, Genesis themes are the most popular WordPress themes for professional bloggers. Yes, they cost a bit more than regular themes, but you get so much more. Lifetimes updates, great support and once you own the framework, themes are in a $40 range. Let me know how you liked Daily Dish Pro review in the comments.
Perfect theme for food, fashion, and lifestyle bloggers. Genesis framework will have your back. Stability, security, speed and SEO optimizations can boost your website success.
At $99 Daily Dish Pro is not the cheapest theme. But that price includes the framework as well. If you already own a Genesis framework, theme only will cost you $44.
